Innovation is central to everything that Verus Metrology does. The company’s toolmaking background, for example, ensures a deep understanding of client needs now and into the future. Verus also recently introduced a new and innovative Auto-Rotational element to its bespoke fixture solutions, advancing its Manual Metrology Fixture offering and further securing its position at the forefront of metrology fixture technology.

Verus works in partnership with its clients, getting a full understanding of their metrology challenges before developing fully customised solutions designed and built to exceed expectations. In many cases, it operates as an external department of its clients with relationships built on flexibility, openness, and honesty. The goal is always to achieve service excellence.

Proud of its Roots

Verus is a committed member of the Atlantic MedTech Cluster, demonstrating its commitment to promoting Sligo and the North West of Ireland as a global centre of excellence for the MedTech industry, with recognition around the world of this region’s capabilities in the sector.

Michael Nugent said a priority at Verus is to continue increasing the “availability of future, long-term employment within the engineering sector”. One goal is to attract skilled labour back to the Sligo area.

He said: “Our aim is to increase the number of job vacancies here at Verus across many areas such as engineering, manufacturing, metrology, and marketing.

“We will also continue striving to bridge the gender gap that currently exists within the engineering sector.”
